The Canadian tour may have been postponed, but we can still enjoy some time with James. Join us tomorrow, Sunday March 22, at 2:00 pm ET / 11:00 am PT for “A Socially Distant Visit With James” on Facebook! Chat with James and spend some “virtual” quality time #AtHomeTogether.
Good news — James’s Audible Original audio memoir, Break Shot: My First 21 Years, is now available in Canada! Head to Audible.ca to download now, and click below for a clip of James discussing the project.
A song to lift our spirits during challenging times, “Secret O’ Life” first appeared on the 1977 album, JT. Be sure to check out #SongsOfComfort — the hashtag created and inspired by Yo-Yo Ma’s posting of Dvořák’s “Going Home”. Post your own, we are watching!
James was a guest recently on iHeartRadio’s Questlove Supeme, the weekly music and culture podcast hosted by The Roots drummer, Questlove.

Following James’s statement, Live Nation Canada has made the following announcement:
James here. I’ve had so many messages urging me to announce a decision regarding our upcoming Canadian tour. We were so looking forward to the tour, it breaks my heart to call it off. But that’s what we must do. All the medical information suggests that small and large gatherings may well put people at risk. That is the last thing we would ever want to do. I hope we can reschedule for the not-too-distant future. We will have an announcement tomorrow about how you can obtain a refund if you purchased a ticket to one of our Canadian concerts.
Thanks to you, Billboard announced today that American Standard has reached #4 on the Billboard Top 200 album charts, making James the first artist ever to land a top ten album in each of the last six decades!
