This Friday, January 8, PBS will premiere A Celebration of American Creativity: In Performance at the White House. Recorded last fall at the White House, James joined a stellar group of performers including Buddy Guy, Smokey Robinson and many more. Check your local listings and make sure you tune in to see James perform Buddy Holly’s “Everyday” and a duet with Keb’ Mo’: Hank Williams’ “I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry”.
Also — the 38th Annual Kennedy Center Honors was broadcast on CBS last week. In case you missed it, you can view the whole show on CBS.com. James appears towards the end of the program, during the Carole King segment. (Our apologies, but the video may not be available outside of the US.)
Lastly, PBS is re-showing both parts of James’s interview on Tavis this week. Part one airs tomorrow, Thursday, January 7, while part two will be shown on Friday, January 8. Check your local listings for exact times.
