James stopped by Late Night with Stephen Colbert last week, performing Before This World‘s “Montana” and duetting with Stephen on the classic “You Can Close Your Eyes”. James and Stephen also performed an updated version of “Fire And Rain” and closed the show with his personal touch on the French national anthem.

On pense toujours à Paris. Dans un sens l’esprit du monde civilisé se trouve la, chez vous. La priorité de la loi, les droits de la personne, la liberté… La plus belle du monde.
On pense toujours à Paris. Aujourd’hui avec tristesse et avec indignation. Vous êtes notre balise, notre phare. Alors, continuez à vous défendre. Bien que nous soyons loin, nous sommes avec vous.
~ James Taylor, 11/14/15
Always, We think of Paris.
In a way, the spirit of the civilized world is there, with you…
The rule of law, the rights of the individual, Freedom…most beautiful of the world.
We think of you, Paris
Today with sadness and indignation
You are our beacon, our lighthouse
Though we are far away
We are with you….
~ James Taylor 11/14/15
Next summer, James, his band and special guest artist Jackson Browne will play two of America’s most storied ballparks: Wrigley Field in Chicago (June 30) and Fenway Park in Boston (August 3).
James is excited to announce these first two concert dates of his 2016 tour and, as always, would like to invite his fans the opportunity to purchase a limited number of fan presale tickets in a fan presale starting Tuesday, November 17 at 10 am local time through JamesTaylor.com. (Public sale will begin November 20).
To participate in these exclusive ticket presales, please make sure you are signed in to your JamesTaylor.com account. If you do not already have a JamesTaylor.com account, please click here to register and create your account in advance of Tuesday.
Please also remember: the ticket allotment provided to JamesTaylor.com for the fan presales is a very small number of tickets that sell out quickly — sometimes within the first 30 minutes. We apologize in advance for any frustration but our hope in offering the fan presale is that you will have advance opportunity to purchase great seats. Luckily, if you are unable to purchase tickets in presale, you will have a second chance during the public sale.
