My family and I can find no words to adequately express our bitter sadness at the senseless slaughter of innocents in Orlando last night. Our hearts ache for their families and loved ones and we join with all compassionate people in our repudiation of this most recent and outrageous act of violent hatred. It is a national shame.

In response to the catastrophic wildfires plaguing the Western Canadian province of Alberta, James has announced that he will donate 100% of the proceeds from two upcoming concerts — June 7 in Edmonton and June 8 in Calgary— to the Canadian Red Cross’s relief efforts.
