James supports Norman Rockwell Museum’s “The Unity Project” which calls upon all Americans to uphold democracy by voting. Six leading contemporary illustrators were commissioned by the Museum to create motivational art in the in the Rockwell illustrated art tradition. On Wednesday, October 7, Carnegie Hall will celebrate the opening of its 130th season with a Virtual Gala Celebration featuring a video message and previously unreleased song video from James as well as archival performances from Jon Batiste, Renée Fleming, Rhiannon Giddens, Lang Lang, Wynton Marsalis, and many more!

James’s longtime guitar player, Michael Landau, has a new album out! Liquid Quartet Live was recorded live at the Baked Potato club in Los Angeles last December with line-up featuring Abe Laboriel Jr, David Frazee and fellow JT bandmate, Jimmy Johnson.
