This Sunday, September 6, Apple Music Radio will air James Taylor: Essentials Radio, an hour-long program featuring James and host Zane Lowe playing and discussing some of James’s greatest hits.
The show will air live twice on Sunday, at 2am PT / 5am ET and again at 2pm PT / 5pm ET, and will then be available for on-demand listening for Apple Music subscribers.

A glimpse behind the scenes
Aug 17, 2020To create the high-quality vinyl pressing for Warner Records’ Greatest Hits remaster, Bernie Grundman used this Scully lathe — extensively restored, adapted and modernized. The lathe uses state-of-the-art handmade components to transfer James’s classics from original 1970s tape, and is considered unequalled in its fidelity and precision. Bernie Grundman and Peter Asher took care to ensure the final pressing precisely reproduced the albums James created 50 years ago.

The Best of Tanglewood on Parade — hosted by James!

On Tuesday, August 18 at 8:00pm ET, James will host the virtual event, The Best of Tanglewood on Parade. Available online for one week, the free stream will include two previously unreleased 2009 performances from James, as well as highlights from recent Tanglewood on Parade concerts featuring the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Boston Pops, Tanglewood Festival Chorus and more.
Tune in to see James and band perform “Lonesome Road” with members of the Tanglewood Festival Chorus and “Mean Old Man” with the legendary John Williams and the Boston Pops, both songs written by James and filmed at Tanglewood on August 30, 2009!
