James will be in Boston on May 22 to give the commencement address and receive an honorary degree from the New England Conservatory of Music. The "First Lady of Children's Music", Ella Jenkins, and conductor & composer, David Amran, will also receive honorary degrees, while pianist Emanuel Ax and Kharkiv-based Ukrainian cellist Denys Karachevtsev will perform during the ceremony.

After James posted this song by Joni a few months ago many fans asked for the "guitar only" version and James did not disappoint. In this video James recut to share just his hands while inching up the guitar volume to help illustrate. "All I want" of course is from Joni's 1971 album, Blue on which James played guitar.

Just ahead of his Canadian tour with Jackson Browne, James has done a couple interviews north of the border.
