James and his All-Star Band have announced their 2015 US summer tour schedule! Beginning July 2 in Allentown, PA the 14-date tour will see James and the band travel across the US in support of his new album, Before This World (release date: June 16).

JamesTaylor.com ticket presales for 10 of these newly announced dates will begin Monday, April 20. Presale information for the remaining four shows will be provided as soon as it is confirmed. Full details including presale start times and links can be found on the Schedule page, along with the rest of his upcoming tour dates.

As a special offer for fans attending these new shows, a CD copy of Before This World is included with every pair of tickets! Fans participating in the JamesTaylor.com presales will receive instructions on how to take advantage of this offer after the presales have ended next week.

The wait is over! Concord Music is pleased to announce the release of James Taylor's new album, Before This World, on June 16, 2015. Before This World is James's first album of new songs since October Road, released in 2002.

Recorded primarily at TheBarn in Western Massachusetts, the 10-track album will feature James's legendary Band: Jimmy Johnson, Steve Gadd, Michael Landau, Larry Goldings, Luis Conte, Andrea Zonn, Arnold McCuller, David Lasley and Kate Markowitz, as well as special guests Yo-Yo Ma and Sting. Kim and Henry Taylor provide background vocals on several songs.

Before This World will be available in a variety of formats, including digital, CD, Deluxe CD/DVD (including a 30-minute documentary, There We Were: The Recording of James Taylor's 'Before This World'), 180-gram vinyl (plus download card) and a Limited Edition Deluxe Book.

James's longtime drummer Steve Gadd turns 70 this spring. Steve and his fellow James Taylor Band-mates are celebrating by releasing a new Steve Gadd Band album, 70 Strong. The follow-up to his 2013 release, Gadditude, the new album once again features guitarist Mike Landau, pianist Larry Goldings, bassist Jimmy Johnson and on trumpet Walt Fowler.
