Summer tour begins!

Tonight’s the night!

James and his All-Star Band kick off the 2014 US tour tonight with a concert at the Moda Center in Portland, OR! Some old songs and some new songs. This is the first of 40 shows James and the band will play over the next 4 months — a tour that will visit 34 cities in 24 states, and a stop in Toronto, Canada too!

To celebrate the start of the summer tour, James is launching two new features on his website, JamesTaylor.com:

“Life On The Road” — this section offers you a photo/video glimpse of the behind-the-scenes activity surrounding set up and daily routine for a James Taylor show day. Watch now as James himself gives you a video tour of his personal wardrobe trunk! We will be adding more photos to this section as the tour progresses so make sure you keep an eye on the site.

“Meet The Band” — this section introduces you to each of the members of James’s amazing “All-Star Band”. Each member is featured in their own Q&A sharing their personal experiences of life on the road with James.
