On October 2, James will take part in Save The Children's "Centennial Celebration: Once in a Lifetime" gala event at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in LA. Hosted by Jennifer Garner, the night will honor Robert A. Iger, Chairman/CEO of the Walt Disney Company Chairman. The gala will also feature appearances by Oprah Winfrey and the Amani Children's Choir.

50 years ago last week, Newport Folk Festival Founder George Wein walked onstage during James's July 20, 1969 concert to announce that men were walking on the moon. Last weekend, James motored by boat with Kim, Henry and Rufus to surprise Sheryl Crow fans with an impromptu appearance.
