John Williams — Tanglewood 90th Birthday Celebration
Jan 26, 2022The BSO will celebrate John Williams 90th birthday with a special concert at Tanglewood on August 20. The special event, conducted by Ken-David Masur, will include James plus other guests including Yo-Yo Ma, Branford Marsalis, Jessica Zhou and others who will help honor the legendary conductor/composer. James’s previously announced July 4, 2022 concert is sold out due to carryover sales for that date in both 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic.

Buyer beware: There are no Meet & Greet packages available for either of James’s 2022 Tanglewood dates. If you see listings for any such packages on third party ticketing sites — it’s a scam!
