James Taylor to Sing at National Christmas Tree Lighting

James Taylor is among the stars who will participate in the 90th annual National Christmas Tree Lighting, which will take place on December 6 on the Ellipse at President’s Park in Washington, D.C.

Some of the other big names who will gather around the tree to serenade the crowd with holiday favorites at the National Park Service-sponsored event are Colbie Caillat, Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds and American Idol champ Phillip Phillips. The tree lighting will be streamed live at starting at 4:30 p.m ET that day. The ceremony also will air nationally on public television throughout December — check your local listings.

More performers and additional guests for the event will be announced in the coming weeks.
